  • Core capability

    At the core of our unique design is an inner ring of copper. We’ve replaced the “rat’s nest” of copper wiring on a conventional motor with a simple, low resistance circular coil.

  • We turned technology inside out

    Conventional motors feature copper wrapped around steel, but our steel stator is wrapped around the outside of the low resistance copper coil.

  • More poles = more torque

    ETM optimizes torque by increasing the number of electromagnetic poles; we’ve literally decoupled the relationship between pole count (torque) and resistance (losses).

  • ETM is Electrifying Torque

    ETM Transverse Flux Motors provide up to 8X more continuous torque at low speeds than conventional motors. ETM technology increases torque and power density while minimizing size and resistance losses.
